Description

C-21692

c. 1970s-1980s; Nash Manufacturing, Inc. – Fort Worth, TX

Pair of Nash wooden water skis finished in a blue-to-green gradient with gold “SKI NASH” graphics. Constructed with laminated wood bodies, rounded tips, aluminum tracking fins, and original adjustable white bindings, the skis reflect the recreational water sports boom of the 1970s and early 1980s. Both skis retain their factory binding assemblies and fin hardware, with evidence of previous accessory mounting holes near the tips. The undersides retain their natural wood finish with original tracking fins, while faded graphics reading “Water Skis” remain visible on the upper surfaces.

Displays moderate age-related wear including scattered scratches, scuffs, finish wear, edge abrasions, and surface discoloration consistent with use. Both skis retain their original bindings. The binding adjustment mechanisms remain functional; however, adjustment is stiff due to one bent adjustment knob, as photographed. Filled or unused mounting holes from previous hardware are present on both skis. Overall structurally sound with wear consistent with age and use.

Each: 46.5” L x 5.5” W x 5” H
