c. 1960s; American Athletic Shoe Co., Inc. – Ware, MA Complete American Aces ice skating outfit retaining its original illustrated cardboard box, including a pair of black leather ice skates, original knit socks, and extra replacement laces. The skates feature smooth black leather uppers with lace-up closure and mounted steel blades, reflecting mid-century recreational ice skating equipment designed for durability and comfort. The graphic box displays period sports imagery and branding associated with American Aces ice skating outfits. The inclusion of unused socks and spare laces, along with the clean appearance of the skates, suggests this set was never put into regular use and remains in near-new old stock condition. The boxed presentation reflects how skating outfits were marketed as complete kits during the mid-20th century.
