c. 1970s/1989s; Dar-Al Promotions, Inc. – New York This Popeye Indoor Basketball Game features colorful lithographed graphics of Popeye, Olive Oyl, Wimpy, and other characters, with the phrase "Ahoy Mates Shoot-A-Basket" above the court. The set includes the cardboard backboard with hoop, net, and original green sponge ball. Likely produced in the 1970s-1980s, this toy was marketed as safe indoor fun for children ages 3 and up.
Cardboard shows creasing, edge wear, and light surface staining; hoop and ball remain intact.
