Description

C-18031

Grouping of three vintage laundry product boxes including Instant Fels Naptha Soap Granules, Dreft powdered detergent, and a small box of Clorox 2 all-fabric bleach. Each example showcases mid-20th century packaging design, from bold typography and color blocking to promotional callouts such as "10¢ Off" and "Marvelous Suds Discovery." Fels and Dreft were among the earliest mass-marketed detergents in America, with Dreft (introduced by Procter & Gamble in 1933) notable as the first synthetic detergent made specifically for delicate fabrics. Clorox, founded in 1913, expanded its bleach products into fabric-safe variants by the 1970s. Collectively, these boxes highlight the evolution of branding and household marketing across three decades.

All boxes are intact with some surface wear, minor scuffing, and light creases from age. Printing remains bright and legible across all three.
