This framed product label features original advertising artwork for Gooch’s Mexican Brand Pills, a historic medicine brand that, among others in the late 1800s to early 1900s, were popular among patients as the main ingredient in this over-the-counter product was morphine. The yellow and black lithograph label is showcased with a bright yellow matte and decorative embossed black frame with red accents. This was among the many products and remedies prepared by the Cincinnati Drug & Chemical Co., Cincinnati, Ohio.
Minor wear to the outer frame and slight surface dust. The piece has not been inspected outside of the frame.
