This is a framed Mrs. Mary Blaize book, part of R. Caldecott’s Picture Books series, published by Frederick Warne & Co. The illustrated cover reads "An Elegy on the Glory of her Sex" and presents period-dressed figures in a parlor setting surrounding an oval portrait. This piece captures the signature charm of Caldecott’s late 19th-century illustrations.
Light wear to the wood frame including scattered nicks; some slight waviness to the paper. The piece has not been inspected outside of the frame.
