This traditional wooden camel saddle features a high pommel and cantle, designed to secure the rider during long journeys across desert terrain. The frame is painted black with decorative studded metal accents, and remnants of original leather and cord lashings remain in place. Such saddles were used throughout the Middle East and North Africa, where camel riding was an essential means of transport and trade.
