French-made carbide bicycle lamp marked “Lampe Pigeon” with engraved French text across the cylindrical reservoir including references to Paris and lighting guarantees. Tall cylindrical body with flared base, stepped collar, and tapered upper chimney terminating in a narrow burner tube. Side-mounted gas adjustment wheel remains intact, along with its original chain-tethered cap. Rear mounting bracket with punched hole designed for bicycle fork or carriage attachment. The body retains a muted silvery metal finish with scattered oxidation and handling marks.
Shows surface oxidation, scattered rust spotting to base underside, finish wear, and age-related discoloration. Chain present; interior components not inspected and functionality not tested. Sold as found.
