Compact brass carbide lamp marked “Pigeon” with engraved lettering including “10.00 S Garantis” and period patent text faintly visible across the body. Cylindrical reservoir form with flared base and tapered upper chimney terminating in a narrow burner tube. Side-mounted adjustment screw controls gas flow, and the rear bracket clip is stamped “Éclairage Déposé, ” indicating registered lighting design. The body shows a rich, naturally developed patina with areas of verdigris oxidation, particularly along seams and the reservoir wall. Designed for bicycle or carriage mounting, this style of lamp produced acetylene light via water and carbide reaction
Shows heavy age-related patina, surface oxidation, verdigris, and finish wear throughout. Adjustment screw present; interior not inspected for completeness or functionality. Sold as found, untested.
