Pair of vintage wall thermometers including a larger porcelainized steel Standard Fuel Oils – Standard Oil Co. example with torch graphic and blue/red roundel logo, and a smaller white metal Taylor Temprite thermometer marked “Made in U.S.A.” The Standard Oil piece features bold vertical torch illustration framing the temperature scale and retains its original printed branding at the base (“AD 6424”). The Taylor Temprite example displays dual Fahrenheit scales with red mercury column and embossed decorative crest at the top.
Standard Oil thermometer shows breakage to the glass tube below the -20 mark; lower section of the tube is snapped. Surface wear, minor staining, and edge chips to enamel present. Taylor Temprite shows light rust at mounting holes, minor surface wear, and typical age discoloration; mercury column intact (accuracy not tested).
