Description
C-17996
Pressed steel toy bucket loader with chain-driven scoop assembly in original blue paint. This example by Kingsbury Manufacturing reflects the company’s signature pressed steel construction, known for producing sturdy, functional toys during the interwar period. The loader features a hand-crank chain drive that lifts and releases four pressed steel scoops, mimicking real industrial bucket loaders of the era. Original paint remains visible with scattered wear, and the toy rolls on four steel-rimmed wheels. A scarce survivor of early 20th-century American toy production.
Wear consistent with age, including paint loss, surface oxidation, and patina. Chain and scoops intact, movement untested but appears mechanically sound.
