Group of vintage baking powder tins representing several American food brands and packaging styles from the early twentieth century. The assortment includes multiple Calumet Double-Acting Baking Powder tins featuring the well-known Native American chief logo, along with additional examples such as Davis Baking Powder, Phosphate Baking Powder by Standard Brands Incorporated, and other double-acting baking powder containers. The bright red Calumet tins illustrate one of the most recognizable grocery brands of the period, widely distributed throughout the United States from its Chicago-based manufacturing operations.
Condition varies across the collection with visible wear including surface rust, paint loss, scratches, dents, and fading labels consistent with age and storage. Some tins retain partial graphics while others show heavier deterioration to the printed surfaces.
