Multi-Estate Spring 2026 Auction
Lot 521:
Description
C-19618
Set of five translucent glass lampshades featuring a softly fluted rib pattern that radiates from the fitter neck to the scalloped lower edge. The domed profile and vertical ribbing create a gentle diffusion of light while adding subtle texture typical of mid-century lighting fixtures. These shades were commonly used on ceiling fixtures, vanity lights, and multi-light pendant installations where uniform glass shades provided both decorative and functional illumination.
The group includes two slightly different sizes while maintaining the same overall form and fitter style, allowing them to work together on larger multi-light fixtures or as replacement shades within similar lighting assemblies. The translucent glass body allows light to pass evenly while softening the brightness of the bulb.
Shows light age-related wear including minor surface marks and interior residue from prior bulb use. One of the smaller shades has a crack across the fitter ring with two small chips present along the base edge.
Large: 8.5” dia x 3.75” H
Small: 8.25” dia x 3.75” H
