Assorted group of vintage children’s books and activity books including titles from Walt Disney and other mid-century publishers. Visible examples include Walt Disney’s Treasury – 21 Best-Loved Stories (A Giant Golden Book), The Animals’ Merry Christmas (A Giant Golden Book), Puss in Boots printed on linen by M.A. Donohue & Co., Extra Big Paint Book – Baby Kittens, Pastime Book for Boys and Girls, Walt Disney World Coloring Book, Nipper Fun Book, and a New Mighty Mouse comic. Several books contain illustrated story pages, activity pages, and color plates typical of children’s publishing from the mid-twentieth century. The Disney Treasury volume includes illustrated stories featuring characters such as Peter Pan, Captain Hook, and other classic Disney figures, while the Christmas title includes a pop-up Santa illustration.
Books show varying degrees of wear including edge wear, creasing, toning, and handling marks. Some volumes have missing spines or spines reinforced with tape, and several books show loose or weakened bindings. Overall condition varies across the group.
