Oil on board landscape painting depicting a pastoral scene with a windmill, waterway, and tree-lined foreground. The composition shows a windmill structure with red blades set along a small body of water, with trees and foliage framing the scene at left and across the upper portion of the image. A small wagon or cart appears near the lower left foreground beside a fence line, adding a rural narrative element. The painted surface shows pronounced crackling consistent with age or a heavy varnish layer. The work is housed in a molded decorative frame with repeating geometric and foliate patterns along the inner and outer borders.
The frame exhibits scattered losses to the gesso and finish along the edges and corners. The painting surface shows widespread craquelure and surface wear consistent with age.
