Oil on canvas landscape depicting a view of Warwick Castle overlooking a river, with the fortified towers and crenellated walls rising behind trees along the shoreline. The composition shows the castle complex positioned across the water with a small rowboat in the foreground and a cluster of cottages to the right side of the scene. Soft atmospheric tones and muted greens and browns create a hazy landscape effect typical of early twentieth-century decorative landscape painting. Faint lettering along the lower edge of the painting appears to identify the scene as “Warwick Castle.” The canvas is stretched on a simple wooden stretcher without a frame.
The painting shows scattered areas of paint loss along the edges and surface wear throughout, with light discoloration and minor abrasions consistent with age.
