Eclectic grouping of four original advertising tins spanning automotive care, household goods, and personal products. Includes a round Simoniz paste wax tin marked “For Lacquers, Duco, Enamel” with bold yellow and red graphics; a half-pound Rumford Baking Powder cylindrical can with classic red lithography; a striking blue and orange Permatex Clutch Fluid for Hudsons can featuring dynamic swirl graphics; and a small rectangular Packer’s Tar Soap tin with colorful trade mark label reading Mystic, Conn. The Permatex can retains original contents and remains full.
All pieces show age-related wear including surface rust, oxidation, label loss, edge wear, and denting. Rumford can exhibits heavy exterior wear and paper loss; Simoniz tin shows surface oxidation and lid patina; Packer’s Tar Soap tin has rust spotting and finish wear; Permatex can displays minor scratches and handling wear but retains strong color and remains full (contents not tested, sold as-is).
