Iittala Kastehelmi Cranberry Footed Dessert Bowl
Description
C-21835
Elegant pressed glass footed dessert bowl from Iittala’s celebrated Kastehelmi (“Dewdrop”) pattern, designed by renowned Finnish glass artist Oiva Toikka. Introduced in 1964, the pattern’s distinctive concentric rows of raised glass droplets were inspired by morning dew while also serving as an innovative solution to conceal seams created during the pressed-glass manufacturing process. Rendered in the rich Cranberry Red colorway, this versatile pedestal bowl is ideal for serving ice cream, fruit, parfaits, candies, or as a striking decorative accent. The Kastehelmi line remains one of Finland’s most iconic glass designs and continues to be admired for its timeless Scandinavian aesthetic. Manufactured 2010 – present.
