Pickup & Shipping Information
**Important Shipping Policy Update:** Rock Auction Gallery now charges a service fee for coordinating shipments of large, fragile, or specialty items that cannot be shipped through standard parcel carriers. Complimentary shipping resources remain available for bidders who prefer to arrange their own transportation. Please review the options and fees outlined below before bidding.
Local Pickup
Local pickup will be available on Wednesday, November 4th and Thursday November 5th, from 12:00–6:00 PM.
Standard Shipping (UPS & USPS)
In-house shipping is available for most lots within the continental United States. Parcel shipping handled by Rock Auction Gallery will be processed through Shipping Saint.
Large, Fragile & Specialty Shipments
For orders that cannot be safely shipped via UPS or USPS due to size, weight, or fragility, we offer the following options:
- Option 1: Buyer-Arranged Shipping (Complimentary Resources)
Bidders who prefer to arrange their own shipping may request a contact list of independent carriers we have worked with previously. We also provide a detailed instruction guide for obtaining shipping quotes and booking transportation through uShip. These resources are provided at no charge.
Basic assistance with carrier pickup, including coordinating a pickup time and making purchased items available for collection, is also provided at no charge.
- Option 2: Gallery-Coordinated Shipping (Additional Fees Apply)
For bidders who prefer Rock Auction Gallery to arrange delivery of their large or fragile purchases, a **minimum $50 service fee** will apply. This fee includes up to one hour of time spent sourcing carriers, obtaining quotes, and coordinating shipment.
Additional coordination time beyond the first hour will be billed at **$30 per hour**.
Basic assistance with carrier pickup is included. However, additional charges may apply for packing materials, protective wrapping, palletizing, crating, or other preparation required for safe transportation.
All coordination and preparation fees are separate from the carrier’s transportation charges and are the responsibility of the buyer.
Shipping Liability
All shipments coordinated or handled by Rock Auction Gallery are considered FOB (Freight on Board). Shipping is undertaken at the buyer’s risk and expense. Rock Auction Gallery’s responsibility for purchased merchandise ends upon the close of the auction, as outlined in our Bidder Terms and Conditions.
Please review our complete Bidder Terms and Conditions for additional information regarding shipping, pickup, and liability.
