Description
C-21635
Graduated set of six European pewter liquid measuring jugs, likely dating from the late nineteenth to early twentieth century. Each measure features a flared pouring lip, cast handle with metric capacity marking, and stamped verification marks around the upper body. The set includes capacities ranging from one liter down through smaller deciliter and centiliter measures. The smallest measure bears three crest-style touchmarks on the base, while the remaining five examples each bear a single crest.
Shows light to moderate age-related wear including scattered scratches, scuffs, oxidation, and handling wear throughout. Pewter surfaces retain a dark mellow patina. Embossed capacity markings and verification stamps remain visible. All six measures remain structurally sound.
