Mid-late 20th century; Large decorative print mounted to board depicting an aristocratic musical gathering rendered in an 18th century Rococo-inspired style. The composition centers on a salon performance with musicians, seated courtiers, and finely dressed attendants assembled around a keyboard instrument within an opulent interior featuring chandeliers, carved furnishings, patterned flooring, and heavy drapery. The image bears the printed signature “Geo. Wohlking” at lower right, indicative of George Wohlking. The image is printed directly onto board rather than paper under glass. Housed in a molded wood frame with repeating Greek key border decoration and carved crest at top center. Reverse retains original paperboard backing secured with nails and hanging wire. The richly detailed scene and warm palette give the piece strong mid-century traditional decorative appeal.
Minor wear and damage to the frame. Scratches are visible on the print as shown in photos.
