c. late 19th–early 20th century; Jochum Buhl Products Co. – Chicago, IL Group of five amber glass bottles including a “Fleecy White, One Quart” example with base mark for Jochum Buhl Products Co., Chicago, along with an embossed “Johann Hoff” bottle. Amber glass was widely used to protect contents from light exposure, particularly for medicinal and chemical products. “Fleecy White” was a common early 20th century household cleaner brand distributed in refillable glass containers.
Surface wear, haze, and residue present throughout. Scratches and age-related wear consistent with storage and use. No major cracks observed.
