c. early to mid 20th century; maker unknown Group of uranium glass tableware including four footed dessert cups, four matching saucers, and two handled cups, all with molded decorative banding featuring floral and fruit motifs. The glass exhibits a pale green tone in natural light and fluoresces a vivid bright green under ultraviolet light, consistent with uranium content. Forms include wide shallow bowls on short stems, flat saucers with raised centers, and handled cups with flared rims, suggesting use for desserts, custards, or light table service. Uranium glass was widely produced from the late 19th century through the mid-20th century, valued for its distinctive coloration and fluorescent properties under UV light. Sets such as this were commonly used for both everyday tableware and decorative serving.
