The piece is topped with the company’s circular "5% Interest Paid on Demand Since 1882" logo and includes printed text noting its location at "Court and Main, Cincinnati, Ohio." The glass tube and metal backing remain intact, with a working temperature scale ranging from 20°F to 120°F. A fine example of early 20th-century bank advertising that combined utility and brand visibility in local storefronts and offices. Founded in 1882, Eagle Savings & Loan Association became one of Hamilton County’s largest financial institutions, known for community lending and its long-standing commitment to neighborhood development through the mid-century era.
