c. 1930s-1950s; Anchor Hocking Glass Corporation – Lancaster, OH Three assorted serving pieces in pressed glass and milk glass including a ribbed clear glass bowl with scalloped rim and starburst base, a pink depression glass divided relish tray with molded side handles and central partition, and a milk glass deviled egg platter with molded wells and scalloped edge highlighted by a gilt rim. Produced by Anchor Hocking, one of the most prolific American glass manufacturers of the 20th century, pieces like these were staples of mid-century kitchens and holiday tables. The divided relish dish allowed for pickles or olives to be served separately, the fluted bowl suited fruit or dessert service, and the molded milk glass egg plate provided a tidy presentation for deviled eggs or hors d’oeuvres-small conveniences that defined the social rituals of the period.
Shows light wear consistent with age including minor surface marks and light wear to the gilt rim on the milk glass egg dish. No chips observed.
