General Antiques and Collectibles Spring Auction
Lot 95:
Description
C-17495
Pair of forged steel combination wrenches, each marked for 5/8" fasteners. One is stamped Williams, made by J.H. Williams & Co. of Buffalo, New York, a firm founded in 1882 and among the earliest American manufacturers of drop-forged hand tools. The other bears the Servess mark, a U.S. brand active in the mid-20th century. Both wrenches feature open-end jaws paired with box-end rings for versatility in automotive, industrial, and general trade work.
Surface wear, oxidation, and handling marks consistent with workshop use. Jaw edges and box ends show rounding from use but remain serviceable.
