c. 1930s; Perfection Stove Company – Cleveland, Ohio Pressed steel kerosene heater manufactured by the Perfection Stove Company, finished in black with cylindrical body, vented housing, and tripod legs. The unit features a removable top section, exposing the wick and burner assembly within. Compact and functional, these heaters were widely used in American homes, workshops, and outbuildings before the widespread adoption of electric and central heating. Founded in 1901, the Perfection Stove Company became one of the leading American producers of kerosene heaters and stoves, exporting internationally and supplying both domestic and commercial markets well into the mid-20th century.
Surface wear, oxidation, and paint loss present throughout. Burner mechanism intact though untested.
