c. 1940s-1950s; Pacquins Co. – New York, New York Antique die-cut cardboard advertising display for Pacquins Hand Cream. Rendered in bold lavender tones, the display features a three-dimensional product jar alongside an illustrated woman applying cream to her hands. The slogan "Keeps Busy Hands Lovely" appears along the bottom edge, highlighting the brand’s focus on protecting skin for working women in the mid-20th century. Displays like this were distributed to drugstores and department store counters by Pacquins Co., a New York-based cosmetics manufacturer founded in the 1920s. Pacquins Hand Cream was one of the company’s best-known products and was marketed extensively during the 1940s and 1950s as both a beauty and practical skin-care solution.
Surface wear, light edge rubbing, and small bends consistent with age and use. Retains strong color and graphics.
