c. 1930s-1940s; Grandvu Dairy Co. – De Pere, WI & King Farm Dairy – Rockford, IL Set of two one-quart glass milk bottles, one with bold orange ACL (Applied Color Label) lettering for Grandvu Dairy Co. of De Pere, Wisconsin, and the other retaining a paper seal lid marked King Farm Dairy, Tuberculin Tested Milk, Rockford, Illinois. Together these bottles reflect the period transition from embossed and paper-labeled bottles to more durable painted labels that highlighted branding and ensured consumer confidence.
Both bottles remain in solid condition with no cracks or repairs. The Grandvu ACL shows minor scuffing but remains bright, while the King Farm example carries light surface wear with intact paper lid showing expected age darkening.
Each measures 3" Dia. and 9" H
