Hand-painted porcelain figurine numbered NR-2, titled Back to School, depicting a young boy dressed in winter outerwear and scarf, clutching a chalkboard marked "4 + 4 =8" and standing in a thoughtful pose as he heads back to class. The base is marked with the impressed number "NR-2" and inscribed "JAN 8, 1927 © The Saturday Evening Post Co. 1973 – Dave Grossman Designs, Inc." confirming the model’s identity.
