This antique advertising trade card promotes Bush & Co’s Borax Soap as "The Best for All Purposes." The sepia-toned illustration depicts children playing and bathing around a large tub in a classic Victorian domestic scene. The card is double-matted in beige and brown tones and set in a decorative beaded wood frame, ideal for display as a piece of 19th-century advertising ephemera.
Exhibits light foxing, mild staining, and age toning on the card. Frame shows minor scuffs and wear along edges. The piece has not been inspected outside of the frame.
