This framed piece features an antique advertising trade card for Maize Flour Toilet Soap by McKeone Van Haagen & Co. The sepia-toned lithograph depicts playful children climbing a stone wall with a dog at their feet, rendered in charming period style. It is mounted with a light gray mat and housed in an ornate black wood frame with repeating oval detailing.
Even age toning and light foxing on the card. Frame shows mild scuffs and edge wear consistent with age. The piece has not been inspected outside of the frame.
