Issued by Cupples & Leon Company of New York, this piece is identified as the "First Series" and showcases the youthful energy and humor that made the strip a staple of early American comics. The original cover is mounted in a black mat with a cream-colored metal frame.
Visible surface wear and light discoloration to the printed piece. This item has not been inspected outside of the frame.
