These vintage "Pilot" binoculars by Lan-Dee feature all-metal construction trimmed in textured black pebble grain leatherette. Equipped with optically ground and polished lenses, the binoculars were marketed as "precision built" for both indoor and outdoor events. This pair comes complete with its original illustrated retail box, which emphasizes easy focusing and "clear double vision."
Box shows heavy edge wear, creasing, and tearing to the lower front flap. Binoculars show light surface wear but remain structurally sound with intact lenses and center focus wheel.
