c. 1920s-1930s; Lionel Corporation – New York This early Lionel O-gauge tinplate set includes a matching group of green and orange passenger and service cars along with an electric-style locomotive. The cars consist of: • No. 332 Observation Car • No. 339 Pullman Car • No. 337 Railway Mail Car • No. 330 Pullman Car • Electric Locomotive (unmarked, with brass details) Produced in the late 1920s through 1930s, these tinplate cars were part of Lionel’s "The Lionel Lines" series, designed to bring the look of real passenger service to home layouts. Each features lithographed side panels, window cutouts, and nickel journal box trucks with Lionel latch couplers.
The cars and locomotive show age-related wear, paint loss, and handling marks, but retain strong original color and detailing. A representative example of Lionel’s durable and collectible early 20th-century train sets.
