This lot includes six antique tintype photographs dating from the late 1800s to early 1900s. The portraits feature men, women, and children posed in formal studio and outdoor-style settings. These original ferrotype images were created by exposing a direct positive on a thin sheet of metal coated with a dark lacquer or enamel. A classic representation of turn-of-the-century photography, these tintypes offer both character and historical value.
Some surface scratching, light warping, and edge wear present consistent with age and handling.
