c. 1900s-1910s; Tressemanes & Vogt – Limoges, France Pair of round, hand-painted porcelain vanity jars with delicate white daisies and soft green foliage over a pale celadon ground. Each rests on three gilt paw feet, with one featuring a domed lid and finial while the other serves as an open jar with a gilt-rimmed edge. Their refined floral decoration and subtle gradient glazing typify the artistry of early 20th-century Limoges studio porcelain. Tressemanes & Vogt operated in Limoges, France from the late 19th to early 20th centuries, producing high-quality blanks for export and decoration, many later finished by American and European studio artists.
Displays light rubbing to gilded details and minor age wear to the lid’s finial; no visible cracks or repairs.
