Group of vintage industrial and sporting goods items including three Dixon’s Microfyne Flake Graphite tins, a Remington Kleanbore ammunition box, and a small cylindrical anti-dimming stick container for gas masks. The Dixon tins are printed in black, cream, and red with product instructions and advertising text describing uses for graphite as a lubricant on metal, wood, rubber, leather, and machinery. Each tin is labeled as a product of the Joseph Dixon Crucible Company of Jersey City, New Jersey. The lot also includes a green Remington Kleanbore ammunition box labeled “Standard .22 Long, ” as well as a small metal container marked “Anti-Dimming Stick for Gas Masks, ” with printed instructions for use.
Items show age-related wear including surface marks, minor rust spotting, and general handling wear. The Remington ammunition box shows edge wear and creasing to the cardboard, and the small gas mask container exhibits finish wear consistent with age.
