Striking pair of deep cobalt glass display vases, one engraved with a portrait of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. and the other bearing the inscription “I Have a Dream 1929–1968” with a dove motif and the phrase “Free at Last! Free at Last!” The heavy molded glass forms feature softly faceted sides and a rich violet-blue tone that highlights the engraved imagery when illuminated.
Minor surface wear consistent with age and handling. The MLK portrait vase exhibits a scratch on the reverse side beneath the dove engraving. Original shipping box marked “Made in Poland” included.
