Three-piece assortment of vintage grocery and dairy advertising containers anchored by a large metal Swift’s Veal Cutlets pail. The Swift & Company example features a green and cream oval label reading “Swift’s Veal Cutlets – Swift & Company U.S.A.” with original wire bail handle and lidded metal body. Accompanying it is a cylindrical Chase and Sanborn’s Coffee tin marked “Dated Apr. 22nd, ” along with a small lithographed Borden’s Creamed Cottage Cheese container featuring the familiar smiling cow and bright sunflower graphic.
Swift’s pail shows oxidation, scattered scratches, and general finish wear consistent with age; bail handle intact. Chase & Sanborn coffee tin shows label wear, surface scuffs, and light rust spotting. Borden’s cottage cheese container exhibits paint wear and edge oxidation. All sold as found.
