Decorative strand of hand-carved wooden fish, each individually shaped and painted in a blue and white scheme with red-painted mouths and simple incised detailing. The bodies show visible knife marks and hand-tooled contours, with carved gill lines and circular painted eyes. Each fish is drilled at the head and strung along a dark twisted cord, creating a flexible garland display. Paint is intentionally rustic, with layered brushwork and natural distress that enhances the folk character. The grouping includes multiple fish forms with slight variations in size and carving.
Shows scattered paint loss, surface scratches, and edge wear consistent with age and handling. Cord exhibits fraying in areas but remains intact and functional.
