Grouping of five wooden hand planes in varying sizes, each with solid wood bodies and iron blades set through traditional mortised throats. The planes display chamfered edges, wedge-secured irons, and visible tool marks from long shop use. One example features a taller rear tote-style handle, while another includes a grooved sole likely intended for molding or joinery work. The undersides show worn soles with patina and surface cracking consistent with age, and remnants of old paint or finish are visible on one body.
Surface wear, checking, and shrinkage cracks present throughout. Iron blades show oxidation and patina. Sold as found; untested for current cutting condition.
