Multi-Estate Spring 2026 Auction
Lot 170:
Description
C-19188
Mixed grouping of early agricultural and workshop tools including three hand sickles with curved steel blades and wooden handles, an adjustable wooden spokeshave, multiple wood-handled awls and leatherworking tools, a small marking gauge, and a cast metal wheel cutter. The assortment reflects rural utility—hand-forged steel, turned hardwood handles, and well-worn working edges throughout. The sickles retain their crescent-shaped blades with visible patina and oxidation, while the spokeshave shows its original wooden body and adjustment screw intact.
Surface wear, oxidation, and handle wear present throughout consistent with age and use. Blades show patina and light rust. Sold as found.
