Multi-Estate Spring 2026 Auction
Lot 159:
Description
C-19175
Group of three glazed art pottery vases in complementary earth and forest tones. The yellow and green example, stamped “Moose Pottery” on the underside, features a rounded body with flared rim and flowing vertical green glaze over a mustard ground. The rim shows a significant chip with visible loss along the lip. The tall cylindrical vase presents a deep, variegated green glaze with subtle tonal movement and scattered kiln dimples, rising in a clean, uninterrupted columnar form. The third piece, a squat bowl-form vase, carries a rich brown and cream drip glaze with mossy green pooling near the shoulder, creating a layered, molten effect across its rounded body.
Yellow/green Moose Pottery vase has a large chip to the rim and general glaze wear. Other two vases show minor surface wear and kiln marks consistent with age; no major cracks observed.
Tallest: 8.25” H x 4.75” Dia
