Multi-Estate Spring 2026 Auction
Lot 158:
Description
C-19174
Satin finish art glass pitcher with a softly bulbous body, flared spout, and applied clear ribbed handle. The upper neck transitions into a pale vaseline-yellow tone, blending into a frosted celadon ground. The body is decorated with delicate hand-painted floral garlands in soft white blossoms with mauve and brown leaves, trailing horizontally across the midsection. The lower portion retains a luminous, slightly opalescent character with gentle internal swirls visible in the glass. The applied handle features vertical ribbing and a sculptural attachment at the shoulder, typical of turn-of-the-century Bohemian production.
Chip present on the rim at the spout, visible upon close inspection. Otherwise shows light age-appropriate wear with no additional cracks observed.
9” H x 7” W
