Description
C-18569
1982; Cities Service Co. – Tulsa, OK Illuminated plastic service station globe produced for Cities Service branding, featuring the company’s recognizable red-and-blue motif associated with late-20th-century American fuel and roadside advertising. By this period, Cities Service was transitioning its retail identity toward the CITGO name, making later globes like this representative of the final era of widespread Cities Service station branding. The bold graphics and rounded form reflect standardized petroleum advertising design intended for high visibility both day and night.
Shows light surface wear (yellowing/discoloration) consistent with age and use, including minor scuffs and handling marks. Overall condition is solid, with graphics remaining clear and well-defined.
