c. 1930s–1940s; Wisconsin Laboratories, Inc. – Dousman, WI Large cylindrical metal can advertising Protexem “Vapor Action” brush conditioner, with bold green lithographed graphics and detailed instructional panels covering use, storage, and brush reclamation. The front panel illustration depicts multiple paint brushes suspended within the container, emphasizing proper shop practice and tool preservation. Strong typography and clear, instructional design give the piece a distinctly utilitarian character rooted in professional paint and trade environments.
Shows minor scuffs, edge wear, and small tears to the exterior label, along with light surface wear to the metal consistent with age and use. Lithography remains legible and visually strong throughout.
