Description
C-20207
c. 1970s–1980s; Merdel Game Manufacturing Co. – Ludington, MI
Square-form carrom gameboard set with printed playing surface, corner net pockets, and molded protective corner caps. The board features a classic circular scoring layout in red and black over a faux woodgrain laminate, with a central marked field and perimeter scoring zones. Included are a grouping of red, green, and white rings (playing pieces) along with two wooden cue sticks, one still retaining its original rubber tip while the other shows loss at the end. The reverse of the packaging highlights its multi-game functionality, with options including crokinole, pocket billiards, and other tabletop variations.
Original cardboard box is present, showing bright graphics of gameplay scenes and instructions, along with manufacturer markings for Merdel Game Mfg. Co. The board itself remains visually clean with strong color retention, and the netted corner pockets are intact.
Shows wear consistent with use and storage, including edge wear and creasing to the original box, minor scuffing to the board surface, and one cue stick missing its tip. Set is incomplete, with only rings and sticks present.
