1959 Cardboard promotional standee for Helmut Käutner’s Stranger in My Arms starring June Allyson and Jeff Chandler. The plot concerns a Korean War test pilot who crashes in the Pacific along with his navigator. Before rescue, his navigator dies, but the pilot returns home. What follows is a torrid love affair involving the pilot and his navigator’s widow and the question of morality during times of grief.
This piece exhibits some creasing and tears along the border and an adhesive strip on the bottom edge. The bright colors, however, remain vibrant.
