Description

A three-piece tea service in the Scinde pattern by Samuel Alcock & Co., comprising teapot, covered sugar bowl, and creamer. Each piece is decorated in deep flow blue with Orientalist landscape scenes framed by cobalt borders. The paneled bodies are set on pedestal bases, with angular loop handles characteristic of Alcock’s mid-19th century production.
Shows some stains/oxidation and crazing. One pitcher shows reglued handle and a hairline. Sugar has a rebuilt handle.
